Next mixer set for April 14

April 8, 2009 by Dave Haynes

Well … I can’t speak for anyone else, but I could use a couple of beers after the pair of weeks I’ve had.

And almost in time, there’s another Toronto industry mixer on the horizon. Dmitry Sokolov at Ingram has pulled it together, as usual, but for various reasons was not able to hit up a sponsor for this month. That means you are buying your own drinks, and we’ll see just how many freeloaders we have among the ranks who mysteriously can’t make it this time. Very few, I assume.

I, of course, am just seconds away from homelessness now, so will be wandering the lounge looking sad … and thirsty.

Following the usual second Tuesday on the month thing, the next one is Tuesday, April 14th, at 6:30 pm.

Usual place, as well:

Six Steps Restaurant & Lounge

55 Colborne Street

T – 416.504.4800

F – 416.504.4880

For the unitiated, the mixer is a chance for industry people and newcomers to get together, swap cards and yak, with the only formalities being the ritual sacrifice of a one-eyed goat, and a couple of hours of angry chanting.
