DOOH Media nominee list released
April 8, 2009 by Dave Haynes
MediaPost has released the finalist list for the Digital Out-of-Home Media awards it will be handing out last this month at an event in New York.
The awards will be part of the Digital Out-of-Home Media Forum and Expo, a one-day event set for April 22.
It’s a decidedly different list from the entries seen at DSE and GlobalShop, with a much heavier tilt to mainstream and boutique agencies, as well as planners. One of the firms that got a pile of nominees us Moxie Interactive, an Atlanta agency that does a bunch of work for Verizon online and evident in-store. You can see some of their work here.
PRN got several nominations for its Walmart work and, interestingly, Adcentricity has a couple of nominations from branding and campaign work. It’s interesting because the nominations clearly extend betyond the creatives and network operators to the guys planning the campaigns.
It is a long list, and you can find it here. There were reportedly some 200 entries, so lobbing something in was by no means a ticket to a nomination.
The event agenda looks pretty good. Wish I was going …
