DS Breaks

Fortunately, we caught Gorrie before St. Patty’s day, and he is dead-on accurate! Three of the first four items have no “stimulating” effect for small businesses not making a profit, and sadly that is the vast majority of small businesses, from digital signage to dry cleaning. The last item has some merit, but if you look closely, capital gains occur when there is a liquidity event (e,g,. a sale at a higher share price). In the current market, while M&A activity is not completely dormant, there aren’t a lot of premiums being paid out there. Dare we say it……? Window dressing from politicians???
