Reminder: DOPES meeting and meet-up Tuesday night in LV

Well the authorities kindly let me into the country, and I am safely on the ground in Las Vegas, looking east from my third floor room at the Rio over a glorious expanse of HVAC plants and satellite dishes. One look at me and I suppose it was clear I was not a whale, and not destined for comp’d drinks and a room with a real view.

Oh well.

I still have the fire pool and fake trees of the Peppermill Fireside Lounge to get me all twitchy with glee.

This is a reminder that the industry meet-up is tomorrow (that’s Tuesday) at 7 at the Peppermill Lounge at 2985 Las Vegas Boulevard, in a strip mall near the Riviera.

It is also the formative meeting of the Digital Out of home Professionals and Executives Society, probably far more appropriately known as DOPES.

For those who are not familiar with the mandate for DOPES, don’t fret. There probably isn’t one, other than cocktails and hanging out with industry friends.

A bunch of people have emailed to indicate they’re coming, so it should be a good, totally informal mixer.
