Record crowd at mixer

November 12, 2008 by Dave Haynes

By my count we had some 50 people, maybe more, at last night’s industry mixer in Toronto — with the bottom level of Six Steps pretty much filled up by 7 pm and not thinned out until after 9.

Along with the usual suspects, there was a great mix of people from all aspects of the industry. Lots of good conversations and people exchanging business contacts.

Thanks again to Premier Mounts and their Canadian sales manager Jane Cliff for sponsoring the event, and Dmitry Sokolov at Ingram for getting it organized.

There is no event planned for next month — as it is Christmas party season — and we were yakking last night as to whether Jan. 13th is too soon after the holidays. I think it’s fine, but interested in what others think.
