Good Lord there a lot of companies getting into the digital signage space.
I thought I was pretty familiar with most of who is out there, but there's yet more. At some point, there has to be a massive shake-out and culling of the herd because there's too many for them all to succeed, and way too much noise in the marketplace.
I didn't have time to catch conference sessions in the morning, and only got a chance to visit a few booths to see what's up and new. Bottom line on that, not much. I spoke with a few people and nobody flagged anything that knocked their socks off.
I should have time on Day 2 to poke around a bit more and report on whatever is new and different.
As for the quality of the attendees, lotsa lovely people but most of them were people just getting into the game. If there were big-time retailers wandering around, they were disguised.
