CorpComm, EduComm Expos This Week In CubsTown

November 14, 2016 by Dave Haynes

cce_w_date_hallThe CorpComm Expo and sister EduComm Expo trade shows are on this week in Chicago – running Tuesday and Wednesday at the Chicago Navy Pier.

Not going, but I’m sure those who are will be happy to learn Chicago will be unseasonably mild (and sunny) this week, making what could be a hellishly cold walk out on the Lake Michigan pier to the hall quite pleasant.

I asked, but didn’t get a rundown on how things were going from the show’s organizers – the same company that runs Digital Signage Expo. Assume they were busy-busy.

What’s evident is that there are 40 exhibitors between the two shows. They’re mostly the usual suspects you’d find at signage shows, but I also see some companies focused on areas like mobile apps and collaboration tools.

Reports from last year, when it was in Atlanta, were pretty good. Small show. Small crowd. But quality leads.

If you’re going, zip me some pix and impressions. It’s the last show of note, I think, that touches on signage, until NRF in New York in mid-January – which will almost certainly be hellishly cold.

I’ll be there and will share some feedback. Last year’s event was a solid start.
