Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

At this year’s DSE, Visionect will be part of something really exciting: the launch of our 32’’ electronic paper development kit, which we will be showcasing at E Ink’s booth #2237.

Created in cooperation with E Ink, the kit features the largest single module electronic paper display in existence, and is powered by Visionect’s intelligent software and hardware platform developed especially for e-paper displays of this size. The kit represents the quickest way to a functional signage prototype, with technology ready for large scale and mission critical deployments.

The additional benefit of the color display – yes, the kit comes in both grayscale or color – enables the development of universal indoor and outdoor digital signs used for wayfinding, advertising or passenger information solutions. The result is a sign with paper-like readability, but on a never-before seen scale — wireless and perfect for demanding environments where energy efficiency is key.

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

More than anything, Visionect is an ambassador of electronic paper technology, and we are always excited to help propel the use of e-paper further. That’s why we’re so happy for visitors to see our 32’’ development kit, the largest size of an electronic paper display currently available. We truly believe that e-paper has the potential to revolutionize the digital signage market, and the 32’’ kit is an important milestone in that.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

Really anyone that is interested in what e-paper can offer – from signage integrators to content providers and companies looking for that digital sign that could be implemented independently from the power grid or under tricky light conditions.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

We’ve been at DSE a couple of times now, and every time it seems to get bigger and more interesting, with signage definitely coming into its own, so there seem to be some exciting times ahead.

When you get a chance to get away from your booth, what will you be looking for and researching?

Most definitely we’ll be looking at different signage applications across the field to see what’s what. We’ll of course also be looking at e-paper applications in all shapes and sizes, many of those on display at DSE having been realized with the help of Visionect.

What’s your favourite part of the week?

Without a doubt, the different mixers and networking events accompanying DSE – it’s a chance to meet some interesting new people with amazing ideas.
