Please go visit Ken, so he has something to do. … Actually, this looks like Ken checking emails on set-up day at DSE 2015.

Real Digital Media, Booth 2826

Here’s what industry vet and sporadic blogger Ken Goldberg says about why you need to stop by and see him and his Florida-based CMS company, Real Digital Media.

Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

People should come by to talk about digital signage solutions. Not just software, not just media players or displays, but solutions. We are here to share 14 years of hard-earned experience, addressing all critical elements of a project from solution selection through implementation.

We  have a platform that has evolved based upon customer needs, not on buzz words. We’ll talk about size and shape in displays, flexibility in media players based on use case, how a partner ecosystem matters, and of course top shelf software. Folks who understand that managing a network of scale is about people as much as bits and bytes will find a chat with us to be worth their time.

Oh, and in the spirit of being transparent (and cool), you will want to visit the back side of our booth, where you can see the iDOOR®, powered by NEOCAST.

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Our message is about an enterprise-class digital signage platform, combined with a world class partner ecosystem and dedicated, customer-centric people. We recognize that what we offer in terms of products and services are a part of a greater whole, and we stake our success upon yours. So it only makes sense that we assist our customers in creating the optimal solution for their particular use case. If you are looking for a partner, not just an invoicing machine, we are in Booth 2826.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

People who have or are planning a network of scale, or existing network operators who have evolved their approach or enough experience to consider the advantages of changing their platform provider. It is easier and less traumatic than others would have you think, and it is a big part of our business today.  We serve a number of verticals including retail, hospitality, food service, health care, public sector and corporate communications. We also welcome anyone who just wants to talk about digital signage and sort through what can be confusing choices to the uninitiated!

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

We are proud to have been at DSE from the very beginning, this is our 13th year. The show has changed in focus, in scope and of course in size, all in a positive way. The team at Exponation has been relentless in providing educational opportunities for attendees, and they listen, which is a great quality to have.

When you get a chance to get away from your booth, what will you be looking for and researching?

I want to see some of the newer LED and OLED displays, outdoor enclosures (which I won’t have to walk very far for), content providers, several partners and coffee.

What’s your favourite part of the week?

I just love the entire day of Wednesday, when the stress of set-up is behind us all. The excitement of the show opening, the post-show reception (which includes the awards ceremony this year), our traditional customer dinner, and post-dinner opportunities to rub elbows with the entire industry. Added to that this year, I am honored to be presenting on Wednesday morning at 9 AM. It will be a long, exciting day!
