Microspace Communications/Opt Connect: Booth 234

Here’s why Preset Group Mixer Sponsor Microspace Communications says people need to swing by Booth 234 at Digital Signage Expo, as relayed by the company’s longtime VP Sales and Marketing, Greg Hurt.

Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

There are a number of critical components that make up a successful digital signage deployment. While content delivery and managed services might not be the most glamorous of those components, it’s certainly one of the most significant. We like to share with potential users “Content is King…but only if that content reliably and cost-effectively reaches its intended display device.”

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

An effective communications network can make or break your digital signage network. Our customers are able to focus exclusively on their content and messaging while we keep a close 24/7 eye on the performance and status of each site within the network.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

A digital signage integrator or network manager that understands the importance of a reliable, cost-effective and fully managed signage network. That attendee will also have multiple signage sites that are geographically dispersed and sees the benefit of true “plug and play” communications infrastructure.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

We’re actually a Charter Member of the DSE and have exhibited at each and every show. It’s been interesting to see the advancements in technology and reductions in network costs. While many signage solution providers have come and gone, the one’s that understand good content alone doesn’t make for a successful network are back on the exhibit floor, along with Microspace, again in 2016.

When you get a chance to get away from your booth, what will you be looking for and researching?

Browsing the show floor and getting acquainted with new offerings to the market. Also making fellow signage solution providers aware of the connectivity and managed service offerings from Microspace.

What’s your favourite part of the week?

The networking opportunities are always fun. Hearing about new opportunities and new markets from fellow providers assures me that the digital signage market has a healthy future and will continue to be an exciting place to do business.
