A&W Food Services of Canada Inc, or A&W as we’re going to call them, has announced it is going digital with its menus at the roughly 850 stores across the Frozen North. The rollout has already started, running on software and services, like creative, from Cineplex Digital Networks, aka EK3.

“We are extremely pleased with our new digital menu board system and with the creative content provided by Cineplex,” says Rob Fussey, VP of Marketing, Concept Innovation, Design & Construction for A&W.

Nick Prigioniero, President of CDN, says the deal is as the exclusive provider. His London. Ontario-based company has been doing the same work for Tim Hortons for roughly forever. “A&W adds to a growing list of strategic, forward-thinking brands that recognize how the right digital signage can help their business sell more product, increase margins, lower costs and strengthen customer loyalty.”
