Coming Tomorrow: The State Of Android Digital Signage Report

STATEOFTITLEj

Client commitments greatly slowed research and production, but I’ve finally completed work on what I think is a thorough look into the state of the Android digital signage marketplace.

I will upload it and make it available as a free, no-strings-attached download tomorrow off Sixteen:Nine. It’s 23 pages, so set some time aside.

The report looks at the use of ARM-based processors and the Android mobile operating system for digital signage products and services – where it came from, how it’s being used, and where it is going. I went into it with one impression and came out with a very different one.

There are technical aspects of the report that may go over the head of some readers, but for the most part, the report is presented in lay terms. It had to, since I am definitely not someone who gets his hands dirty rooting around file directories, bench-testing devices or writing code.

Look for the report tomorrow.
