Belfast’s DisplayNote Technologies, which does software that allows meetings presentation to be shared across many devices, will be at InfoComm next week, at booth 3085.

Here’s why Ed Morgan, the company’s head of marketing, says people should drop by …

1 – Why do people going to InfoComm need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

We are an Irish Start-up that build real-time collaboration solutions for mobile, desktop and large format displays. We’re Silicon Republic’s ‘One-to-Watch’ for 2015, have just signed a deal with NEC that will see our products on over 1.2 million units and we’ll be showcasing a brand new wireless presentation system on booth 3085.  We’re three years old, have 4 products, a team of near 40, a tonne of ideas in the bag, 7 OEM partners and just closed a round of funding to help us build more cool stuff.  It’s shows like this where we hear feedback, casual conversations, those ‘wouldn’t-it-be-cool-if’ moments that turn into ideas, which become products. Plus we’re good craic (and that’s no BS!)

2 – What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Wireless Presentation Done Right. We’ve struggled a lot with what’s out there and want to put it right with ‘Montage’–  it’s built for touch and gestures (which has been neglected) collaboration baked in (not just a box ticking exercise for a tender), control and PC from the main large format display.

3 – What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

Anyone that’s ever sat in a bad meeting.

4 – How has the digital signage business changed for your company in the past 12-24 months, if it has?

Bigger screens, even more opportunity to collaborate and involve others. The gap between the physical and virtual world is narrowing – spaces becoming less fractured as we bring together multiple minds, multiple machines, multiple places

5 – Any advice for first-time attendees?
