A woman walking down a street in suburban London sidewalk was seriously injured earlier today when a four ton, 20-ft wide LED billboard run by ClearChannel pulled free from a building wall.

The woman was hit by the huge metal billboard hoarding after it broke free, and fell about 20 feet, reports the Daily Mail.

The board was reported to have only been installed Sunday night, and based on photos, came loose from the brick-clad building. A local property developer, looking over the wreckage, speculated that the bolts anchoring the fixture to the wall were inadequate.

Who knows what happened, but it’s a big reminder that hanging screens of any size takes expertise and experience.
