Projects: Giant Convex Wall In UK Corporate Lobby

This is what German display manufacturer Eyevis is touting as  the largest convex curved video wall in Europe, set up at the new mass spectrometry headquarters of the analytical instruments company Waters Corporation in Wilmslow, Cheshire, UK.

The 3.8 metres x 2.2 metres display wall welcomes Waters visitors in the reception area, and features 48 eyevis omniSHAPES rear projection display modules.

Eyevis says omniSHAPES is the only display product in its class capable of creating a convex wall like this. Saville AV put the displays and supporting infrastructure in. I’d imagine this kind of display tech, like Christie’s MicroTiles, is the only sort that would work in what is a light-filled atrium. Regular panels would be fighting all the ambient lift and reflections.
