Innovation through Integration

Kris Konrath, Convergent

Booth 1427

Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

We’re a digital signage veteran and one of the few companies in the industry that provide a single source solution.  As a systems integrator, we integrate best of breed technologies into flexible, scalable and reliable solutions, built around your unique requirements.  In fact, we work with many of the vendors that you’ll see on the show floor.  Some of the innovation we’re featuring in our booth include iBeacon integration, demographic triggered content, tablet controlled displays, innovative social media solutions and much more.

But amazing technology is just the start. Services are one the most critical components in any digital signage implementation.  When you stop by our booth you’ll get a better understanding of what it takes to design, install, manage and maintain your solution.  We provide a full service solution that includes media strategy, content creation, systems integration, network operations and solution support.  And with so much focus on content, be sure to check out our live content creation demonstration to get insights into how we create award-winning content.

So if you want to give your solution a mini-lift with new content, a major-lift with a whole new solution or if you’re starting from scratch, you need to stop by and talk to us the Convergent booth #1427.

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Simply put, we’re delivering Innovation through Integration.  You’ll see a lot of great technology on the show floor, much of it represented in our booth.  But technology is just part of a solution.  We bring all of the parts together to deliver compelling and innovative solutions, built around your specific requirements.  It’s kind of like hiring an architect to build your house instead of doing it yourself.

Convergent Booth Inside

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth?

We very interested in talking with end users, dealers and software vendors.

End users will appreciate the clarity we bring to an overwhelming market. We have a wide portfolio of technologies that can meet the needs of most markets, but much of our experience has been in retail, banking, healthcare and corporate communications.

For dealers, we’re the exclusive North American distributor of some award winning digital signage systems.  Dealers love our products because they’re easy to sell and they provide excellent revenue opportunities after the sale.

We also want to talk with software companies who need help implementing and supporting their customers.  We can work behind the scenes to deliver services like project management, deployment, monitoring and field services through a seasoned, professional partner team.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

In 2004, we worked closely with Angelo and Chris at ExpoNation to help launch DSE (then the Digital Retail Expo) and served as the founding sponsor. We have been at the show every year since, in some form or fashion.  In fact, we’re working with them again in the launch of their Corporate Communications show in our own backyard, Atlanta.

Any advice for first-time attendees?

It’s easy to get overwhelmed at DSE.  There are so many hardware and software vendors showing their latest and greatest, it’s difficult to know where to start.

My best advice is to not get distracted by all the shiny objects and remember what you want your solution to achieve and what problems you want it to solve.

Ask the thought leaders how they have helped companies like yours achieve their objectives.
