Why do people going to DSE need to put your company on their Must See list of booths?

DSE visitors who are interested in commercial-grade Android solutions should put the VIA booth on their must see list. With the ALTA DS and ALTA DS 2 we offer two reliable high-performance single and dual screen solutions, plus a signage solution pack including a customized Android 4.3 BSP that has a VIA Smart ETK to speed up time to market. The VIA ALTA DS has also recently obtained Scala Android HTML Player, as well as Scala Android HTML Enhanced Player certification. We’re also actively working with other signage software companies who are interested in a commercial-grade player that still comes in at less than $200 a unit.

At our booth, we will be demonstrating the VIA ALTA DS 2 running at 4K resolutions for the first time, and unveiling an innovative all-in-one Android cloud signage solution designed to meet the specific needs of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprise).

In addition, we will also be showing our fishbone video wall system.

What’s your big marketing message to attendees, and what’s it all about?

Our key marketing message is that we offer a complete range of Android and Windows media players and video wall servers that can easily be customized using our software development tools,  such as the signage solution pack. We also provide localized support services for our customers from our US headquarters in Fremont, California and have a growing number of software partners in the US that enable us to address all the key vertical application segments.

What’s the ideal profile of attendees walking into your booth? (by this I mean, are you looking for retailers, corporate communicators, etc)

We are interested in talking to customers looking for commercial-grade signage and video wall solutions across all the key verticals. With our extensive product range, software tool kits, and customization capabilities, we have the ability to provide all the key ingredients for meeting the diverse needs of the market.

We’re also interested in meeting with signage software firms that want to move off consumer-grade Android devices to a commercial product that’s built to last.

How many years have you been doing DSE and how has it changed (if you think it has changed?) over the years?

During the five years we have been going to DSE, the show has become much more sophisticated as the technology and its potential applications have developed. Attendees have also become a lot more focused on understanding the potential business benefits of the products on display rather than just their technical features.

Any advice for first-time attendees?

Set clear objectives for the show so that you can plan which exhibitors to visit and decide what questions you want answered. Find some time to have fun. After all, you’re in Vegas!
