Projects: Tablet Choir Does Beethoven’s Ode To Joy

androidchoir

And here we have 300 tablets all synced together, with Android avatars, singing Beethoven’s Ode To Joy as part of a Google Japan promotion. Extroverts at a shopping mall in Japan, where this was installed this week, got a T-shirt if they tried conducting the choir, via a gesture sensor.

Digital signage? Well, sorta, given they’d have to be networked and sync’ing back to something. Definitely experiential.
