Details about exact location and time location are still to be worked out, but one of DSrupted’s sponsor, the Digital Signage Federation, will put together a networking event/mixer on the evening before the day-long conference in Toronto.

The DSF is looking to build its membership ranks in the target-rich London-Kitchener-Toronto-Montreal corridor, which has for years had a disproportionate number of companies involved n digital signage. This is a good way to get the membership has its benefits message out there.

So …. if you are coming to DSrupted, and you should if you care about where technology is going in this sector, plan to be in Toronto by dinner time on the 16th and stick around for the conference the next day. The mixer will be downtown and within a few blocks of the conference site, which is adjacent to Union Station, the city’s rail, commuter bus and subway hub. There are heaps of hotels within steps or blocks of the venue.

You can also fly in to downtown Toronto proper via the awesome Porter Airlines (including flights out of Newark and Chicago-Midway), or some Air Canada destinations.

I’ll post more details on venue, etc, as they get firmed up.
