Projects: Raspberry Pi Drives Dry Cleaner Sign Network

Raspberry Pie is probably bad news for people in the business of stain removal, but Raspberry Pi appears to be working just fine.

Here’s a dry cleaner chain in Richmond, Virginia that’s using the low-cost micro PCs and running Rise Vision’s free CMS.  The signs are pretty much just emulating the company website and embedding a Twitter stream gadget, but in the context of what are probably small wait areas at counter, that tidy design probably works. I’d do one or two tweets at a time to blow up the font size and boost visibility, but otherwise kinda nice … and shows the Pi devices are finding their way into mainstream projects.
