Projects: NCSA Using Digital Signage As It Connects Student Athletes to Scholarships

November 16, 2013 by Dave Haynes

Here’s another great example of a company making an investment in a proper case study video, to tell a stronger story about a video-based project.

xlogo-ncsaSignagelive has produced a video about a small but nice job involving the National Collegiate Scouting Association, a for-profit company that connects student athletes with scholarship-granting higher ed schools. NCSA is kinda like eHarmony, except it is matchmaking coaches and schools with freakishly big, fast and nimble teenagers.

The company is based in Chicago, as is Signagelive’s Raffi Vartian, and as is his videographer brother Aram who shot and produced the piece.

The NCSA is using six screens located around its Chicago offices, employing the software to display statistics of how well their organization is meeting their goals.

Based on the success of the initial install, NCSA will be deploying more large format screens and start to test a Signagelive to the desktop screensaver version that will constantly get coaches fresh information about prospective recruits.

Anyone who knows Raffi knows he is no shrinking violet, but this video is impressively ALL about the client (almost always the better path).
