DSA and CETW plan pre-show mixer in NYC

CET World is coming on pretty soon in New York, and the Digital Screenmedia Association – which has close ties to the trade show – is planning a mixer on Nov. 8, the night before the show’s doors open.

The DSA’s Crown Awards will be announced at the function.

The venue is yet to be nailed down. This comes on the heels of what I gather was a good crowd for a cruise of San Francisco Bay at the spring version of CETW.

Still sorting whether I can go. NY hotels are so freaking expensive and staying in Newark doesn’t make me tingle with glee. Vegas room rates spoil a guy.

A look at the exhibitor list doesn’t make the case all that strong, but these events have a way of filling up in the weeks before. Lawrence Dvorchik always does a good job pulling things together.
