Mixer reminder

A reminder that the industry mixer series is back on tomorrow might (Tuesday) in Toronto, starting at 6:30 or so. Samsung is hosting, and the event is again coordinated by the good folks at Ingram Micro.

I can’t make it, as I will already be up in Montreal. I have an hour-long talk on Wednesday, that people are actually paying good money to hear, for the InfoPresse series that runs up there. I don’t think I have ever been asked to blabber on for more than 30 minutes or so, which should make this interesting. I have visions of zipping through things, saying thanks, and then somebody whispering in my ear that I have another 25 minutes. Oh bother.
I will have a pint in Montreal to mark the mixer. A few people have been asking and I suspect the turnout should be good. As always for the unfamiliar, it’s a casual meet-up of industry types. No big speeches. No motions. No minutes. And the post-mixer street rioting is not the issue it used to be.
